Ben specializes in group benefits, corporate insurance, and financial planning, supporting business owners, HR leaders, and finance teams who want to take great care of their people while running strong, sustainable organizations. He believes benefits and planning should be clear, practical, and easy to act on.
Ben is known for skipping the fluff and giving clients the straightforward goods. Using his experience and analytical skill, his goal is to make insurance easy to understand — and to be honest about what insurance is, what it isn’t, and where it actually creates value. He focuses on educating clients so they can make confident decisions, not selling them something they don’t need. He works from the client’s side of the table, helping them understand what actually matters. And if someone really wants to nerd out on the details, he can absolutely do that too.
Outside of work, Ben is all-in on being a dad. A lot of his time is spent coaching, driving his kids to and from more things than should realistically fit in a week, and getting out on the mountain snowboarding with his daughters. Coaching soccer, in particular, is something he is deeply passionate about and one of the ways he most loves giving back to his community.
Ben grew up on Vancouver Island and still defaults to the outdoors whenever possible. If there’s a boat and a wake to surf, he’s happy. He’s also a car guy at heart and will never be mad about talking cars, driving cars, or looking at cars.
